My Family is doing Biggest Loser. We have until December 17th, right before we all participate in our Christmas Festivities. I'm really excited. I don't know if everyone is taking this seriously, but I sure am. I want the $100 at the end to go get a spa treatment OR a new outfit for my new body OR more running gear. I don't know, but I'm going to WIN!!
This contest is mine.
I'm starting at:
weight: 196 pounds.
pant/dress size: 16
AND flabby all over.
By Christmas this will be NO MORE!!
Your biggest challenge isn't someone else. It's the ache in your lungs, and the burning in your legs, and the voice inside you that yells can't. But you don't listen. You just push harder. And then you hear the voice whisper can. And you discover that the person you thought you were is NO match for the one you really are.

Wasatch Woman Love Your Body 5K (aka 6K)
I'm doing this fun 6K in October. I'm stoked. I'm walking because I'm breastfeeding. So sad, I know, but it's okay. At least I'm getting back into the races. Yeah.
You should all join me. It's on October 9th and the run/walk is through the gardens at Thanksgiving Point. It's $20 now and goes up soon. (I don't really remember when, but soon) It's WOMEN ONLY. How fun is that? A way to show your daughters, sons, husbands just how important your body is to you. And that you LOVE it no matter what.
I'm so excited. It's gonna be great!!

Breathing in the Sweetness
Oh, it was beautiful this morning on my walk. A little breezy so I had to makeshift a cover for my Sweet Pea's stroller, but it worked out well I think. Anyway, as I was enjoying my morning exercise I all of a sudden noticed one of my most cherished fragrances. The smell of a wood burning stove in the cool fall air.
I was unaware it was Fall already, but the breeze gently let me in on the secret. As much as I'm sad to see Summer go, I know she'll be back next year. I really do love all the seasons. The Fall stretch into Winter is my favorite. It comes with wonderful smells, plenty of Holidays, and delicious food. Oh the goodness of the end of the year.

Almost There
Walking has become my life. As I walk I yearn to RUN. I can't wait until I can again. I'm so excited that I have almost reached 120 Miles this summer. I wasn't sure I could do it, but I'm only 7 miles away. It's so great to accomplish something physical again.

Oh So Much Summer
It's been so long. I have been really busy with a new little one and had smooshed all my blogs together without even thinking about it. But I'm back. Posting Here about my fitness.
So, you can imagine, I'm almost 7 months post-baby and still flabby. Obviously wanting to get back to my extreme exercising self is the goal, but a very distant goal. Beginning my trek to skinny-dom started out pretty rocky. I didn't get out much. Ate like I was pregnant still. (not that I ate for two, I just didn't make the wisest choices.) And complained about being fat.
NOW. . .
I am walking everyday. (I started to run, but my breast milk lessened. So, I stopped) I joined the
And I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I think I have lost a couple of inches. I've got to step it up to meet my goal for December. To lose the extra 30 pounds I'm holding onto. I'm gonna do it.
I enjoyed the 120 mile challenge so much that this fall
And I'm stoked!!! If you want to participate in the 500 challenge go to nutsinanutshell.blogspot.com and email Cat. She would love it. Don't be afraid 500 is NOT miles this time. It's points. And you earn points in a million different ways. It will be so fun. I hope you join in.
