Your biggest challenge isn't someone else. It's the ache in your lungs, and the burning in your legs, and the voice inside you that yells can't. But you don't listen. You just push harder. And then you hear the voice whisper can. And you discover that the person you thought you were is NO match for the one you really are.

Smooth Running

As you know, I have been unable to up my exercise regimen to the level that I want it to be because I'm still pumping and don't want to deplete my milk supply. However, this week I have discovered that walking at the intense speed at which I've been walking (maybe it's my mechanics) hurts my knees. It pains like it did when I was a catcher. (Not quite as intense, but in the same area)

So, I started to run. Just to see if the pain subsided or continued. It left! I was surprised. My body wants to run just as bad as I do. I'm going to need to invest in a jogging stroller now. It's time.

But don't worry. Everyone who is doing the Wasatch Woman Love Your Body Race with me, I am still just walking. No going back on my word here. We will be boogying, but still walking.
